Remote control Samsung Tablet with iPhone

Hello!
I'm having a problem using iPhone Teamviewer app to control a Samsung Galaxy tablet. When I use my MacBook to connect, the screen on the Galaxy tablet turns on automatically with a mouse click on the screen. However, when I try to control the tablet with my iPhone the screen remains black no matter how many times I try to click. If I manually turn on the screen on the tablet then I can see it on my iPhone. Can anyone please provide some assistance? Thanks in advance!
