Sometimes on certain machines, when I attempt to run as admin - teamviewer blacks out MY screen, and ask the client I am connected to to enter admin credentials instead of prompting as a visible screen to me allowing me to enter admin credentials
Hello @Dinar95,
Welcome to the TeamViewer Community, and thanks for reaching out!
What you're describing can occur when the TeamViewer session does not have the administrative permissions required to interact with a Windows User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
To interact with UAC prompts remotely and enter the administrator credentials yourself, connect using Windows Authentication with a Windows administrator account. Depending on the TeamViewer module you're using, please also make sure the TeamViewer service is running.
For step-by-step instructions, click on the following link:
Connect via Windows Authentication to control UAC during a TeamViewer session
Give Windows Authentication a try and let us know whether you can then view and interact with the UAC prompt.
We're looking forward to your update.
Best,
Valeria
