Social Media & Digital Communications Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Social Media & Digital Communications Manager (m/f/d) for our headquarter in Göppingen, Germany.


  • Develop and implement a social media strategy for TeamViewer
  • Develop a communications plan for each social media channel based on its target group
  • Evaluate new social channels or platforms that can be suitable for our online communication
  • Coordinate of all organic social media activities and actively post content
  • Analyze the follower interaction and track the content success to constantly improve social media engagement and KPIs
  • Participate in relevant tradeshows/conferences/events for live social media communication
  • Handle all technical and legal issues regarding the use of social media channels
  • Contribute to issues management and reputation management and be responsible for global media monitoring and social media monitoring; actively participate in (digital) crisis communication management
  • Setup of professional influencer relations management
  • Content management for parts of the corporate website (e.g. trust center)
  • Establish a very strong interface to customer support (especially the community and social support team) as well as to the product and IT security team


  • University degree in one of the following fields: media/communications, business administration, economics, marketing
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of social media/community management / online communications/content marketing
  • Proven experience in strategy development and project management as well as in the implementation of social media campaigns
  • Experience in the software/tech industry and high tech savviness, preferably good contacts to software/tech influencers/bloggers
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, further language skills advantageous
  • Very good storytelling and multimedia skills (video and audio production, infographics, photography for social media)
  • Very good analytical and Excel skills
  • Willingness to regularly travel to relevant events
  • High motivation and performance-orientation and excellent networking skills
