despite valid license: "the device you are connecting to is blocked"

hello.

we are receiving the message "the device you are connecting to is blocked. either you or your partner need to use a valid license to establish this connection" for one device. But we hold a valid license. That blocked device is too far away to travel there and put in the license. But the device which is trying to access it is licensed and has been added to trusted devices (by confirming the link in the email with the subject "Device authorization needed".)

How unblock that device and add it to trusted devices?
