I keep getting logged out of my connection and it says "connection refused due to timeout". I'm not sure why this keep happening or how to fix it.

I have been having issues with TeamViewer timing out after like 5 minutes I been using the free version and i think maybe someone i connected to installed it commercial and not the private. Can you fix my account back to normal please
Same issue here. Worked fine last week.....today I am unable to connect for more than a few seconds and then it times out. This is very frustrating as the connection is needed to work from home (and impending deadlines for work are not able to be met due to this new issue). FWIW, I am also in Germany and using a free license for personal use only.
@Tracy1, I think using TV for doing (paid) work remotely is considered commercial use…
I'm using it to help (mostly elderly) family members and seeing the same problem.
Regarding the question of paid vs. free, I would gladly pay something like 5 Euros a month to be able to reliably use it with a small number of remote machines for a limited time. Something like 10 machines and 10 hours per month would be enough.

Same issue here in Switzerland. I suspect this is not related to the country you're connecting from.
Exactly the same issue for me and I am in Switzerland too. No commercial suspicion.
Same issue in Italy, i agree, it does not matter the country you are in.
Either a fix comes soon or I have to find an easy alternatives like ** Third Party Product **, ** Third Party Product **, whatever!
I got the following message from the support:
"I encourage all users experiencing this while being 100% sure to not use TeamViewer for any sort of "working" to fill out the form on teamviewer.com/reset. Our team will review every submission within a short time."

I am a student and I am also using a free license.
Whenever I try to connect to my PC using teamviewer it shows some license error and says that my account is having limitations for using teamviewer as I use my account for Commercial purpose.
But this is not the case, I never used my account for commercial purpose or in fact I use TeamViewer once or twice a month, just to connect to my own device linked with same account.
How do I fix this, there is no option to contact Teamviewer support aswell.
I have been using Teamviewer with free license just fine with my family/friend but today when I tried to connect to my friend computer, Teamviewer blocked me saying that "Connection blocked after timeout. Your license limits the maximum session duration to a partner, immediate reconnects are blocked. Please try later of upgrade your license."
After that everytime I try to connect, it blocks my connection for one minute. If I connect at 15:31, it says "Connections to this partner will be blocked until 15:32" and so on.
This is strange.
It happened to me a couple years ago, i had activated the "start at login" Team Viewer option on my windows computer and i immediately received a notification about potential commercial use detected and i could see this notification permanently in the Team Viewer windows.
Now i see everywhere "free version", so it does not flag any detection
Is TV support aware of this? do we still need to go for the reset procedure?

Hello I am using the free license (non comercial use only account) until today I had no problem accessing my home computer from my laptop. Today I logged in and then got this message after it logged me out of my PC, "Connection blocked after timeout. I have been using this free account for years with no issues. Thanks for any help

Server and client are on latest version, Windows to Linux.

Even thou the option is off I keep getting kicked from my session after a minute or two. Every update they release has a new problem that doesn't get solved
I have two accounts. I used two accounts alternately at work and at home. When I use my free account at home, I get a message that I used it commercially. I don't use it commercially at home. Please solve the problem.
I am using Teamviewer for a long time. i think i have an account since 12 years. I use my actual account since 2015.
Today i tried to help my brother in law to install a program and I recieved the message that i got disconnected afther 5 minutes and i can't connect more... I found in the internet that connection is locked when there is a commercial use of teamviewer.
The only people i am connecting to (as you see in the picture below) are: my mom pc , my sister pc , my brother in law PC and my uncle PC ... my personal laptop and home pc... and 2 android TV i have at home.
Please note Nvidia SHIELD IS REPETEED 2 TIMES but it is only one TV.
So considering that 3 of those are my personal computers, there are only 4 PC i am connecting to from Poland to my family in Italy. I do not think that it can be considered "commercial use" adding 4 computers in the last 8 years....
Please help me to unlock the teamviewer free mode. Thank you!
Hello, please tell me why I have a time limit? I have never used the program for commercial purposes and there is no need for this. I log into TeamViewer no more than twice a month. Why am I getting this limitation?
I am using a free version for educational purposes but it keep telling to buy commercial license due to heavy usage. I just recently wanted to start using it after more than 2 years not using it. How do I rectify it?

For 15 minutes I logged in and then got this message after it logged me out of my PC I have been using this free account for years and couldnt use it for over a month in september when your system thought i was using it for business use, after that i send you through your system pdf document undersigned that im using it for personal use and since then i have been using the service with no issues.
I need to be able to connect lastly on friday.
Kindly help me here and now and asap so i dont have to again to be out of using teamwiever for over a month like i had to in august to september last year.
I am working in academia and have been using free TeamViewer license for quite some time to access my work computer from home. Today I started getting kicked from sessions after approximately a minute of use. Trying to reestablish connections results in a 1 minute block that gets prolonged for a random amount of times. Once unblocked, I can connect to my work computer once again, just to get kicked and blocked a minute later.
Please help :)
I use free plan to connect my personal PC from mobile and laptop. Everything was fine but today it IS connected only on 1 minute and got "Commercial use". How to fix it?

i have a free version to help friends and connect to my home computer from remote.
it worked perfect untill the last update to 15.15.5.
now i get timeout and it say i need to buy a licens.
and im locked out and cant reconnect for som min.
is this a bug or do i have to buy a license and all my friends and family to?
