I don't have a TV account...I use this for free to help my bestfriend in France...how is it possible that I suddenly got blocked while I am the middle of fixing something in her macbook?

    Hello @STRANGE

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!

A block-or allow list is a set parameter that either only allows specific users to connect, or blocks specific users from connecting.

If the user did not set any block or allow list up, then more than likely what happened is the setting was turned on to an allow list, but no account or TeamViewer ID was added; essentially blocking everyone from accessing it.

To resolve, the setting need to be set back to default:

Navigate to the settings in the above article and see if block list or allow list is bubbled in.

If allow list is, simply change it to block list; a block list with no IDs or accounts in it is the default setting for this.

    Hope this helps! 🍀
