Get Session Code of a running teamviewer 15 remote support instance

Options

Hi. I need to capture the session code (not TeamViewer ID) of a running instance of TeamViewer remote support. Is there a command or registry key where I can look for this info?

I have already looked under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TeamViewer

But this only provides the TeamViewer ID

Thanks,

Ali

    Hi AliZahid,

    Thank you for your post!!

As the session codes are temporary, they cannot be confirmed from the command or registry key.

Therefore, you need to check the session codes from the TeamViewer application where it was generated.

However, we may assist you further if we could know more details of the background or the use case.

May I ask the reason why you need to confirm the session code from the command or registry key?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Best regards,

    Akiho

    Thanks Akiho.

I need the session code for automation purposes. My app will read it and send it to concerned party.

Thank you for your response, AliZahid!!

All session codes are linked to an account, so you can check the service queue page in the Management Console.

Also, the API can be used to pull the information on all sessions.

For more information, please kindly check the links below.

Hope this information would be useful.
