When people try to connect to my computer they get a Authentication rejected message.

We have tripple checked the password and also created a Fixed Password under options->security->manage additional passwords

We have restarted and shutted down the PC. tried from a different Internet Connection too.

Upgraded to V14 - did not work.

Uninstalled, Restarted and Installed v13 - did not work.

It was working before....

Please help

    Hello Manuse,

    Thank you for your message.

I recommend you to restart the TeamViewer service on your device.

-Execute "run", type "services.msc" and press OK

-Now find TeamViewer, and restart it by doing a right click.

Then, restart the TeamViewer application. It should work again.

I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to contact us again.

    Cheers

  • Does not work.

I believe this will do the same as restarting the pc, and that did not work.

    Hello again Manuse,

    Thank you for your feedback.

    Let's try something else.

On your device, could you please go to Extras → Advanced → Advanced network settings and untick "Use UDP".

And check if it works better ?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

    Cheers

FYI if anyone comes across this thread in the future.

I made a ticket about the problem to TeamViewer's technical support and for my part, the problem was located in the user name of the AzureAD account. The username was identical to the computer name and changing the computer name fixed the problem.

Many thanks to TeamViewer's technical support.
