Raspberry pi as a client for iot project

Can someone point me to a post or documents on settup the raspberry pi (model 3 b) as a clinet in a network of multiple clients?

I was able to install the Teamviewer on the Pi and was able to connect to the host (Windows) after accepting the device via teamviewer.email activation request.

The Issue is the client PI pops up a message indicating that it is a trail version. I was give a license by our IT department for this project and it should be valid. When i try to close the popup it terminals the session.

    Can you advise, which TeamViewer version you have installed on your Raspberry Pi / where did you download the package from?
