TeamViewer 12 keeps crashing on remote connection to mac

Today when remotely connecting to my mac teamviewer is repeatedly launching and crashing, but strangely not disconnecting me.
It also crashes in the same way when trying to goto the audio tab in preferences.

Downgrade back to 11. Fixed the problem for me.

This bug has been plaguing me for close to a month and I've tried everything. Only thing that's worked is downgrading back to v11.
Hopefully the TV guys will get onto this one.. :P
I don't mind, I'm using the free tier, so, anytime is fine by me.0
