Desktop restart blocked due to 'save file' popup. How can I take control?

Hello to everybody.
I am using TW 15.5.3 On Friday, at the end of my work, I launched the 'restart' command on my remote desktop (launched using the usual icon in the bottom left of the taskbar).
When it started the process, I realized I still had a file open that needed conformation to save or not. But at that time the remote desktop was no more reachable via TV. The desktop remained 'online' but I cannot connect anymore without somebody shutting down and restarting the desktop in the office. At least, as much as I know.
Is there a way to take back the control from remote and answer a Yes or No to the 'save file' popup? And then complete the restart on the desktop?

    Have you tried to remote control via TeamViewer this computer again?

    If you are able to connect to it, you might be able to select Yes or No and restart the computer. ?
