<p><br></p><h2 data-id="general">General</h2><div class="blockquote"><div class="blockquote-content"><p class="blockquote-line"><em>This article applies to TeamViewer customers with a Premium, Corporate, or Tensor license. However, not all features are available to all licenses.</em></p></div></div><p>User Roles allow for better administration of users within a company profile.</p><p>A set of existing roles allows you to distribute the user accounts to certain roles that have a pre-defined permission set.</p><p><br></p><h3></h3><h2 data-id="pre-defined-roles-with-a-fixed-set-of-permissions">Pre-defined roles with a fixed set of permissions</h2><p>Three pre-defined roles are available. Each role has a different set of permissions (see screenshots below):</p><p>1.) Company administrator</p><p>2.) User administrator</p><p>3.) Member</p><p>The assignment of these roles can be done via AD Connector or SCIM integration. Especially the SCIM integration, available in Tensor, allows to fully automate this. </p><p><strong>📌Note</strong>: Newly created users or users joining the company will get the new member role by default. <p><br></p><h3 data-id="-1"></h3><h2 data-id="customized-permissions">Customized Permissions</h2><p>If required, permissions can also be customized to the requirements of the user(s) who need them.</p><p>💡<strong>Hint</strong>: Any individual change to the permission of a certain user will cause the account to be removed from the pre-defined role and add their account to the customized permission role. Creating customized roles with their own set of custom permissions is currently under consideration.</p><p><br></p><h3 data-id="-2"></h3><h2 data-id="bulk-changes">Bulk changes</h2><p>Within the User Groups, you can bulk change permissions and settings within the Management Console for the User Accounts. Use the filtering via the User Groups to only see the members of a specific User Group - additionally, you can select specific users where you want to apply the changes to.</p><p>For this,</p><p>1.) Select a User Group and tick the boxes of the users you want to apply the changes to</p><p>2.) Click the <strong>Edit </strong>button (=looks like a wrench) and choose <strong>Change selected</strong></p><p><br></p><div class="embedExternal embedImage display-large float-none">

<p>3.) Now you can make bulk changes to all selected accounts. In the <strong>General </strong>tab click <strong>Next </strong>to continue with the <strong>Permission</strong> tab.
