The TeamViewer Remote Control app for iOS provides two modes for interacting with the remote device connected to Touch mode and Mouse mode.

This article applies to all TeamViewer (Classic) users.

Touch mode vs. Mouse mode

Touch mode allows you to use the device as a remote touchscreen; to move the mouse to a specific location, tap the desired location on your screen.

Mouse mode allows you to operate the remote device as a touchpad to control the mouse; you drag your finger across the screen to interact with the cursor.

How to switch modes

By default, TeamViewer Remote Control for iOS begins connections in Mouse mode. In order to switch between the two modes, first click the ˄ arrow located in the bottom right corner of your screen:

When the settings pop-up appears, click the pointing finger icon:
