<p><br></p><p>Protect your TeamViewer account and thus your <strong>Computers & Contacts list</strong> from unauthorized access with an additional security code.</p><p><br></p><h3></h3><h2 data-id="activate">Activate</h2><p>The TeamViewer Management Console manages the two-factor authentication. You need your TeamViewer Account credentials to access the Management Console.</p><ol><li>To log in to the <strong>Management Console</strong>, open <a href="https://teamviewer-iot.com" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">https://teamviewer-iot.com</a> and use your TeamViewer account credentials.</li><li>From the top menu click <strong>your user name </strong>➜ <strong>Edit profile</strong>. The dialog Profile Settings opens.</li><li>Click <strong>General </strong>➜ <strong>Two-factor authentication</strong>, then click <strong>Activate</strong>. </div><p><br></p><h3 data-id="-2"></h3><h2 data-id="deactivate">Deactivate</h2><p>There are two possible ways to deactivate two-factor authentication.</p><p><br></p><h3 data-id="using-your-profile-settings">Using your profile settings</h3><p>The <strong>TeamViewer Management Console</strong> manages the two-factor authentication.
