This month’s release introduces stronger security controls with Active Connections management, extends web-based screen sharing to Tensor customers, brings Tia Troubleshooting to macOS devices, simplifies Microsoft Intune deployment workflows, and adds new administrative and compliance capabilities across TeamViewer.
Active Connections: Terminate suspicious sessions instantly
What changed
TeamViewer Tensor and TeamViewer ONE administrators can now terminate active remote connections directly from the Active Connections view. Administrators can monitor all active connections within their company profile, including sessions established by both internal and external users, and immediately end a connection when necessary.
The new action is available in the web and desktop clients and adds an additional layer of control for organizations that require greater visibility into ongoing remote support and remote access activities.
Why it matters
Being able to identify an unusual session is only half the job. Security and IT teams also need the ability to act immediately.
With session termination now built directly into Active Connections, administrators can quickly stop suspicious or unauthorized sessions, reducing risk and improving response times during security investigations. The functionality also supports governance and compliance requirements by ensuring sessions can be halted when required.
As an added benefit, every termination action is recorded in the Event Log, creating a clear audit trail for future reviews.

Minimum required TeamViewer version: 15.82
Web-based Screen Sharing now available for Tensor customers
What changed
Web-based Screen Sharing is now available for TeamViewer Tensor customers. Previously available for other TeamViewer licenses, the capability can now be used with Tensor Basic, Pro, Unlimited, and Support (Concurrent) licenses as well.
Administrators can control availability through a company setting, allowing organizations to enable or disable the feature according to their requirements. When enabled, supporters can create browser-based screen-sharing sessions without requiring the remote participant to download or install software.
Why it matters
Sometimes users only need to show what's happening on their screen. Requiring software installation can introduce unnecessary delays, particularly in environments where downloading external applications is restricted.
Web-based Screen Sharing removes this friction by allowing support interactions to begin quickly through a browser. This creates a simpler experience for both supporters and end users, accelerates problem diagnosis, and enables assistance in environments where software installations are limited or discouraged.
The result is faster support and a smoother experience from the very first interaction.

Conditional Access: Simplified pre-approved access management for user groups
What changed
Conditional Access now supports assigning Accept Access Requests and Request Access permissions to entire user groups.
Previously, these permissions typically had to be managed at the individual user level. With this enhancement, administrators can configure permissions once for a group and automatically extend them to all relevant members.
The capability is available to TeamViewer Tensor and TeamViewer ONE customers using Conditional Access.
Why it matters
Managing large groups of technicians, vendors, or administrators can quickly become time-consuming when permissions must be assigned individually.
By extending request and approval permissions to user groups, administrators can simplify access governance, reduce repetitive configuration work, and improve operational efficiency. The enhancement is particularly useful for external maintenance providers, service partners, and larger internal support organizations where multiple users require the same level of access.
Automating these permissions through user groups also helps ensure greater consistency across access workflows while maintaining strong security controls.

Agentless Access now supports session recording
What changed
Session recording is now available for TeamViewer Agentless Access connections that include screen sharing.
Administrators can configure the capability through TeamViewer policies and apply it to Agentless Access gateways. Once enabled, recordings are created for supported Agentless Access sessions and stored on the gateway, including information about the connected endpoint.
Why it matters
Many organizations need documented records of remote activities for compliance, auditing, security reviews, and operational accountability.
By introducing session recording for Agentless Access, organizations can now apply similar governance processes to operational technology (OT) and agentless environments as they already do for traditional IT-managed devices. Teams gain the ability to review completed sessions, validate work performed, and maintain records for regulatory or internal audit purposes.
This enhancement makes it easier to extend consistent compliance standards across a broader range of connected assets.

Tia Troubleshooting expands to macOS
What changed
Tia Troubleshooting is now available during supported remote connections to managed macOS devices.
Users with the appropriate Tia Troubleshooting package can access Advise, Diagnose, and Resolve capabilities during a remote session, enabling AI-powered troubleshooting workflows on macOS in addition to existing platform support.
Why it matters
Support teams are expected to resolve issues quickly regardless of the operating system being used by employees.
By extending Tia Troubleshooting to macOS devices, organizations can provide a more consistent support experience across mixed-device environments. Technicians can move more efficiently from identifying an issue to resolving it, while leveraging AI-assisted insights directly within the support workflow.
The expansion helps organizations scale expertise across support teams, reduce digital friction, and keep technicians focused on solving problems rather than switching between tools.

Minimum required version: 15.82 on supported macOS devices and 15.81 on supported Windows devices.
Microsoft Intune integration: Simplified TeamViewer deployment
What changed
Organizations using Microsoft Intune can now take advantage of enhanced deployment capabilities through the TeamViewer integration.
Administrators can configure synchronization and deployment settings directly from the TeamViewer administration experience and automate the deployment of TeamViewer applications to managed devices. The update also introduces the ability to designate user groups that can manage Intune device synchronization activities.
Why it matters
Deploying remote support software across large numbers of devices often involves multiple administrative tools and manual processes.
The enhanced Intune integration simplifies deployment workflows by bringing important configuration and management capabilities closer together. Organizations can more efficiently roll out TeamViewer to new devices, reduce administrative overhead, and benefit from tighter integration between their Microsoft Intune and TeamViewer environments.
The ability to delegate synchronization management to groups rather than individual users also improves resiliency and helps ensure administrative continuity.

New default user groups for company profiles
What changed
When a new TeamViewer company profile is created, two user groups are now created automatically:
- Company Administrators
- Company Members
These groups are available immediately after profile creation and provide a ready-to-use structure for user administration.
Why it matters
Getting started with a new environment often requires several configuration steps before administrators can begin assigning users and managing permissions.
By providing default user groups out of the box, TeamViewer helps organizations start with a clear management structure from day one. Administrators can onboard users faster, reduce manual setup effort, and lower the likelihood of configuration mistakes during the initial deployment process.
The enhancement streamlines company setup and establishes a stronger foundation for ongoing user management.
