<h2 data-id="general">General</h2><div class="blockquote"><div class="blockquote-content"><p class="blockquote-line"><em>This article applies to all TeamViewer users.</em></p></div></div><p>You can update your TeamViewer account data (e.g., change email address or password) either using the <strong>TeamViewer full version</strong> or the <strong>Management Console</strong>. </p><p>We recommend using the Management Console as it gives you more options for the profile settings.</p><p><br></p><h3></h3><h2 data-id="using-the-management-console%3A">Using the Management Console:</h2><p>To change your account’s email address or password using the Management Console, follow these steps:</p><p>1. Sign in to the <strong>Management Console</strong> at <a href="https://login.teamviewer.com" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">https://login.teamviewer.com</a>.</p><p>2. Click the button displaying your name in the top-right corner and select <strong>Edit profile</strong>.</p><div class="embedExternal embedImage display-large float-none">

<p><br></p><h3 data-id="to-change-your-email">To change your email</h3><p>Go to <strong>General </strong>on the left menu. In the <strong>General </strong>settings, you will see the email field. Enter the new email address here.</p><div class="embedExternal embedImage display-large float-none">

<p><br></p><p>Click <strong>Save </strong>in the upper left corner to confirm the changes.</p><p>📌<strong>Note</strong>: if you change your email address, a confirmation email will be sent to the new address. You will need to click the link in that email to finalize the change.</p><p>📌<strong>Note:</strong> Changing the TeamViewer account email does NOT change your invoicing email. Please <a href="https://www.teamviewer.com/en/support/contact/" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">contact our support team</a> if you would like to change your invoicing email.</p><h3 data-id="to-change-your-password">To change your password</h3><p>Go to <strong>Security </strong>on the left menu. Open the TeamViewer window on your computer and click the <strong>Gear icon</strong> (⚙) in the upper right corner of the TeamViewer application </p><p>(On macOS, please navigate to the <strong>Preferences</strong>.)</p><div class="embedExternal embedImage display-large float-none">
