General
The regular TeamViewer Pilot app for Android requires ARCore compatibility in order to experience the AR and 3D features.
💡Hint: For iOS devices, the compatibility is called ARKit.
ARCore supported devices
Here you can find the list of Android and iOS devices that support ARCore / ARKit:
What happens if your device is not ARCore compatible?
- If your device is not supported, you can still use TeamViewer Pilot on your Android device, but with limited functionality in a compatibility mode. This means you can only use 2D annotations instead of 3D annotations.
You still have the full set of features
💡Hint: Once your device gets an update and with this an ARCore compatibility, you automatically get the full AR experience with 3D annotation.
