  • My advice? Give TeamViewer the boot and install A n y d e s k instead. Takes a bit of getting used to, but I now prefer it to Teamviewer. No more accusations of using software in a commercial environment. Goodbye TeamViewer.
  • Ok, that is news to me. It definitely works on Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa (systemd is an abomination and won't be installed by my good self as a matter of principle). Raspberry Pi clients which are systemd work fine as well. I'd be interested to know why it doesn't work on later versions of Mint...

My previous statement still applies, as most of the Raspberry Pi computers run Jessie and it looks as though I will be employing other remote management methods instead of TeamViewer. Coupled with regular and somewhat sinister 'possible commercial use…
  • I currently have issues with all remote Raspbian clients as they are stuck on V11 Host PC running Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa and thats on V12 Unable to 'upgrade' the application which has worked perfectly for ages - I'm a long-term user of TeamViewer. I suspect that this upgrade path is directly connected to Teamviewer's…
