You can transfer (rather than import) files and folder both from and to the remote computer.
-
You cannot have both remote displays displayed at the same time, unfortunately.
-
By default, the Free licence is offered at install time.
-
In the top left corner, click on the 3 horizontal lines (Menu) and then select About, it should say if it's 64 bit or not.
-
Ideally you would need to create a TV login, you would save your old computer information and just install it over on the new PC and login.
-
You need to make a statement to TV in order to unblock your TV ID.
-
No and yes.
-
You cannot, basically because there is not enough space on a typical Android display. And it doesn't work on Windows either (i.e. I'm connecting from one laptop to another with 2 screens attached to it, I can only see one display at a time).
-
No problem whatsoever, I've done it twice for two weeks, all you need is a stable Internet connection.
-
You can connect, but not with TV, if it's not running.
-
Both the ID and the password should have been automatically generated for you.
-
@Scottac707 : possibly this is the reason: https://ir.teamviewer.com/websites/teamviewer/English/0/ipo-story.html
-
@musicreporter : there is no such thing, it can be slow even in local networks.
-
@bazbsg : yes, and that's probably because each device connects to their servers, so as it's an initial connection from inside to outside it's allowed, and subsequent outside from inside as well. But that of course has a cost in terms of bandwith and resources.

@Aamcqu : ok so we finally know it: from now on we're supposed to be using only in the home / private network, and not accross the Internet (i.e. the TV network), because otherwise we'll all get eventually flagged. Ok so we're not supposed to discuss pricing, but how about a personal licence?!?
-
@Technut : I might be wrong, I don't remember where I've seen it written, and as this history is going on and on I'm not sure I want to look for the info. You want to be right, and actually I want YOU to be right, but I'm afraid that TV won't want that, as pretty much everything you do it flags you. I've already said, but…

@idonthaveagood : please see this post: https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/General-Questions/TeamViewer-thinks-I-m-using-the-software-commercially/m-p/69546/highlight/true#M31772

@o23iutg5498h234 : very interesting observations, but: * Having Teamviewer installed on more than 2 different devices. -> I have it installed on 8 * Using remote connections more than 3 times in a 24 hour timeperiod. -> i had been using more than that sometimes more in parallel * Having more than 3 people in your…
-
@Aamcqu : yes unfortunately you do need a license, as the originating computer you're running TV to connect to your OWN personal computers is in a work environment.
-
@Xenon2000 here you go: Fill out this form to request the unblocking of your TeamViewer ID: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/support/commercial-use-suspected/ It was somewhat buried in the links from the 1st post. Stupid (will be edited to bleep) forum software won't allow paste of own TV text... then if I remove and attempt…
-
@bazbsg : we can test the IA :) what more can we lose?!? :D
-
I wonder if this IA has a nickname...
-
There are plenty, forum rules prevents from explicitly name them, just use your favorite search engine, looking for Teamviewer plus alternative(s)
-
One more story that confirms my belief this is done on purpose in order to either convert free users to pay, or dismiss them.
-
#metoo: I was also restored to free, after submitting the form for all the TV IDs... after a while (I didn't count and didn't kept the email) I receive an email that's ok... but it didn't say for which ID it was ok. So I kept using version 9. After another while I received another email which said for this ID (again they…
-
Heh, just noticed they've edited one of my posts where I was speaking about TV and THEIR OWN offer that appeared. **bleep**, we've been discussing this "free" issues for months if not years, and there were people (myself included) saying that personal licence price-adapted would also work for us, and when we discuss your…
-
@LMVA : just post a link criticising TV, or mentioning alternatives or do mention them yourselves, they'll reach you! :D
-
@ed111 : I guess that they would have had it fixed by now, if they had wanted. Obviously, this is not what's intended.
-
Yep, I posted their new offer here: https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/General-Questions/TeamViewer-thinks-I-m-using-the-software-commercially/m-p/68420#M31248 around 9 euros / month, therefore 107 euros / year.

Heh, just saw this when my TV connection expired: Work flexibly from home for only [removed per Community Guidelines - Do not discuss price]. I guess this is what they were after, after all.
