TeamViewer (Classic) offers licensed users the possibility to use customized QuickSupport modules for instant support. Depending on the browser your customers are using, the download process can vary. The following article will walk you through how to download and open this module, using the most popular browser selections.
This article applies to users with a Business, Premium, Corporate, or Tensor license.
Chrome
1. After clicking the link provided to you, or pasting the URL manually (1), Chrome will automatically start the download. You will see the download appear in the bottom toolbar of Chrome (2).
2. To open the QuickSupport module, click the download in the bottom toolbar once. The module will appear and allow the person supporting you to connect.
Firefox
1. After clicking the link provided to you, or pasting the URL manually (1), Firefox will prompt you to save the downloaded file (2).
2. You will find the downloaded QuickSupport module in the drop-down that appears when you click the Download arrow icon. This is located in the upper right corner of the browser.
3. To open the QuickSupport module, click the download in the upper toolbar's download window once. The module will appear and allow the person supporting you to connect.
Edge
1. After clicking the link provided to you, or pasting the URL manually (1), Edge will automatically start the download. You will see the download window (2) appear in the top toolbar of Edge, showing the QuickSupport Module download (3).
2. To open the QuickSupport module, click the download in the upper toolbar's download window once. The module will appear and allow the person supporting you to connect.
Safari
1. After clicking the link provided to you, or pasting the URL manually (1), Safari will automatically start the download. You will see the download window (2) appear in the top toolbar of Safari, showing the QuickSupport Module download (3).
2. To open the QuickSupport module, click the download in the upper toolbar's download window once. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm that you want to open it. To proceed, click Open.
