TeamViewer Co-browsing facilitates collaborative browsing, allowing experts to assist users directly within their browser tabs. This real-time support feature allows interactive remote support within the web environment. This guide explains how to activate Co-browsing for your company and enable it for your users.

This article applies to Premium, Corporate, or Tensor license holders who purchased the Co-browsing add-on.

How to activate Co-browsing for your company

Once you have purchased Co-browsing, the company administrator needs to activate the feature within the Management Console. To activate Co-browsing, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Sign in with your licensed company administrator account via https://login.teamviewer.com/.
  2. On the left side menu, you will see the Co-browsing section. Click Overview. The activation page will open; on the bottom-right-hand side of the page, click Activate.

You will have successfully activated Co-browsing on your company.

How to enable Co-browsing for your users

Now that Co-browsing is activated, you need to enable it for all users who will provide support via Co-browsing.

To enable Co-browsing for a user, please follow the instructions below:

  1. In the Management Console (https://login.teamviewer.com/), within your Company section, click User management.
  2. Select the user, click the three-dots button (⋮), and click Edit user.
  3. Go to Licenses.
  4. Tick the box under Co-browsing feature, and click Save.

Please repeat this action for all users providing support via Co-browsing.

How to configure Co-browsing

In Settings, you can configure Co-browsing according to your needs.

Integrate Co-browsing to your web page

To integrate Co-browsing into your web page, go to Settings and click Website integration.

General settings and privacy masking

In the general and privacy masking settings, you can define the following:

  • Share control (bi-directional)
  • Show current number of agents in session
  • Allow drawing
  • Allow to share cursor pointer position
  • Allow session sharing
  • Allow file exchange
  • Privacy masking - allows you to hide specific parts of the customer webpage
