A Managed Device is a device located in a Device Group.

Managed Devices can be remotely managed and monitored within the Management Console.

💡Hint: You can convert any device to Managed Devices to manage them centrally by the company admin if the device has been deployed via assignment ID.

Which devices can be Managed Devices

Windows / macOS / Linux devices running TeamViewer Full Client or TeamViewer Host.

Android devices running Android Host are always Managed Devices, as the Host requires account assignment.

Devices running the IoT agent are always Managed Devices, as the IoT agent requires account assignment.

How to know how many Managed Devices I have

To know how many managed devices you have:

  1. Connect to the Management Console.
  2. Click on Company administration on the left side of your screen.
  3. Click on Managed Devices.

The managed devices counter will be displayed on the right-hand side of your screen.
