Can I skip existing files when transferring a folder?

I have a free account (only for personal use). Using latest version. I frequently update files in a folder on my PC and then have to transfer them to my laptop. The easiest way is just to select the folder and tell it to send. But it appears to be sending the entire folder over again. Is there a way to tell the software to skip existing files that are the same (the way you can do with FTP)? It's ridiculous to wait for an entire folder to be sent over again. (Sorry if this is the wrong board - my first time here and I am entirely confused by board names.)
