Invalid personal password when none is set

Hi, we have a corporate TeamViewer account and I am using the Host MSI package to deploy TeamViewer to our Windows 10 laptops via Intune. It works quite well but some laptops I cannot set any policies. I get the error "Invalid personal password". The strange thing is, we never set any personal password. Leaving the field empty does not work. When I check the personal password setting in the TeamViewer settings of the laptop itself, it also doesn't show any password. Another thing that is weird, is that the account assignment does not show in the TeamViewer settings on the device, however it does show up in our TeamViewer console and I can connect to it just fine. Just setting the policies doesn't work.

I have also looked in the registry HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Teamviewer but I don't know what setting to look for, or I could try to remove them via a powershell script in Intune..
