Remote removal of teamviewer from customers machines

Options

Hi,

We are an MSP that provides support for many customers.

One of these customers is leaving us and going to a competitor and potentially has the full client installed on some machines rather than the host client.

This would mean they are able to view our address book and see the names of other customers which we would like to ensure can't happen.

Is there any way that we can uninstall teamviewer from the customers computers remotely, it at least force them to be signed out of our account which has access to our address book?

    Hi @PJTech

    Thank you for your post.

Is the affected account linked to the User Management in the Management Console?

If yes, you have the possibility to deactivate this account by clicking on the little gearwheel next to his account.

After this deactivation, the user will be logged out automatically from every device and is no longer able to sign in again. Therefore, all devices where he has been logged in are now unlicensed.

You can then leave the TeamViewer app installed on their devices.

Please let me know if this could help you or if you need any further information.

I wish you a great day and all the best,
    Natascha
