WOL for Mac (when connected to wifi)

I have spent HOURS trying to work this one out --

I would like to be able to wake my Mac when it's put to sleep. My Mac is connected to my wifi. I was using TeamViewer 14 and downgraded to 13, because I was reading that 14 doesn't allow for WOL. I have assigned mycomouter to the WOL list. I cannot get this working and cannot seem to find much content regarding WOL for Mac. My energy saving settings has the WOL ticked. 

I really would like to be able to get this operating. 

I remain hopeful that someone has the soltuion.
