Your partner uses a newer version from Mac to PC
Just trying out the app for personal use, when attempting to connect to Control Remote Computer - get an error that says: "Your parnter uses a newer version of TeamViewer. Would you like to update TeamViewer now to establish a connection?"
Options are Cancel and Update.
Cancel kicks you out of the loop, Update says "Your're up-to-date! TeamViewer 14.7.1965 is currently the newest version available"
I'm from a Mac running Mojave 10.14.6 going to a PC running Win 10 Pro - just downloaded the installer yesterday.
Any suggestions?

I found the solution
So it probably states you are up to date and mentions software number 14. something
Go to the teamviewer website and download the new software. You dont have to delete the old one. The new software is 15 . something

Yes, the 'update' software still loads 14.XXX - go to the teamviewer site and download the current version and all works again! Thank you for all answers....
