iphone unattended access

Hi - I'm testing out TeamViewer because I thought I saw videos saying that I can remote control an iphone from my Mac laptop. I'm one of those use cases where I gave my elderly mom an iphone and she's having trouble already. I am trying out TeamViewer because I thought that I could control her phone and fix her issues without her having to do anything. I tested out my own iPhone (accessed from my Mac using TeamViewer and installing Quick Support on my iphone), but I'm only able to see the iphone screen. I'm not able to control it. Does TeamViewer, in fact, allow me to control my mom's iphone from my Mac laptop? Your documentation is pretty vague and I haven't found this topic, which I believe is called "unattended access" for iphone on your forum. Thanks in advance for your help. I will gladly buy the software if I can get confirmation that I can give my mom tech support without her having to take any actions. Thanks!
