pardner rejected connection request

When connecting desktop PC to my Android ver. 9.0 phone, I choose to allow the connection on the phone, but the computer reports the phone rejected the connection request. It's always worked on Android version 8.0, but my phone just updated to version 9.0. Is that related?

    Hello @Blufx

    Thank you for your message.

    This shouldn't be related with the update to Android 9.

    Have you tried to click on Deny, instead of Accept and see if it works?

    We had once a case where the two buttons where mixed up by the system.

    Cheers,

    @JeanK

    I'm afraid it does have something to do with the update. I still have no clue what it is, but it worked perfectly on Android 8, but will not on Android 9. A friend visited yesterday and I borrowed his phone, installed TeamViewer QS, the linked his phone to my computer. My phone still rejects the connection. That rules out a Windows problem, and raises another question. His phone is also running Android 9. So what is the difference between his and mine? He has a Galaxy A10 where mine is a Moto G6 (XT1925DL)
