Cannot control remote system

We are both running the latest version of Teamviewer. Both systems are Macs running High Sierra. I can connect without a problem to his machine, but I have no control.

I can control other machines that I connect to - both Mac and Windows.

I tried connecting from my boss's Mac and same thing. Also from my iPad

We went through and I should have control based on the settings.

    Hello glosteraln,

    Thank you for your message.

The Mac of your boss has maybe been updated to the latest iOS version : Mojave.

If it is the case, then the following link will help you out : How to control a Mac running MacOS 10.14 Mojave

If his Mac is still on High Sierra, please open his TeamViewer client, go in the Options→Advanced →Advanced settings for connections to this computer and check if the Access Control is on "Full Access".

I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to contact us again.

    Cheers

  • Hi!

Thanks for your reply. I may not have been clear - the Mac I can't control is running Mojave but so are all the others that I can control. My boss's computer was the computer that I tried to use to see if the issue was on my end but it seems that my boss's computer could not take control either.

I will look at the info on your link and let you all know what i find.

    Thanks again.

  • Jean,

No, unfortunately not. I still have the problem.

Did you solve this? I checked all the permissions, still not able to control. It was working a few days ago.
