Error: Teamviewer does not recognize IP address

Am using Teamviewer on ChromeOS (15.0.14842) to connect to a remote host running Linux. This works fine when connecting using the Teamviewer ID. However when I set the host to only accept LAN connections and try to connect then, I run into an issue.

In Teamviewer on ChromeOS I use the remote host LAN IP (192.xxx.xx.xx) as the Partner ID. But then I get the following error:

"The Teamviewer ID 192 you have entered does not exist."

It seems Teamviewer is not recognizing it as an IP address, and either way is not recogizing it beyond the first period. I tried using other connectors but that does not solve the issue.

Any idea what this could be related to? Thanks!

    Just tried to upgrade to the public test version 15.35.5 and solved this issue on macOS.
