File Transfer & File Box Issue

When initiating a file transfer I get a successful message stating file has been transfered.  However on the remote computer I cannot locate the file anywhere.  I've specified exact directory and even searched entire computer.  I've been doing file transfers for years and upon updating to 12 I can no longer get it to work.  I have also connected a Dropbox account and have used file box to download and same thing occurs.  Team Viewer states that files have been transferred or downloaded but they simply don't show up.  I also noticed that if I do it twice it says the file is already there..very strange considering I can't find it anywhere on the PC.  Any ideas?
