Is it possible to have 2 keyboards and two mice operate independently on the the same desktop screen

aka two CURORS
where one user operates a mouse/keyboard remotely? either windows or ubuntu is fine...
We cannot type at the same time, it goes in a sequence. We'd like to be able to type at the exact same time.
Any suggestions welcome, thank you!

Hi there
As TeamViewer is a remote control it acts as if you are sitting in front of the remote device and you will always be sharing the keyboard and mouse.
That means you can not work independently from the local user.
