Mac Drops Audio When Teamviewer Host Window Closed

I just downloaded the newest version of Teamviewer Host (2/19) , which works great to remotely manage a radio automation application on a Mac Mini.  The problem I'm having is that the computer audio disappears immediately after the Teamviewer Host window is closed.  When I reopen a Teamviewer Host window, the computer audio comes back on again immediately.  It's a little like troubleshooting the light inside a refrigerator!  Any idea what would be making the host audio disappear after closing a remote session?
