Present a screen continuously to viewers while working in other screens

I want to use meeting mode to present one screen to one viewer. No interaction needed. Of course that works, but as soon as I click on another screen myself, the presentation screen turns black. I want the chosen shared screen to be visible continuously. Why isn't that possible?

I found two similar questions, but no solution. If not possible and TeamViewer doesn't want to change the behaviour can someone advise me on another software solution?
