Scheduling Video Call

I want to schedule a video call with 7 peoplel for February 4th.  I've tried scheduling a call with a friend, but when we logon, she can see my screen, which I don't want -- I just want everyone to be able to logon and see eachother like a Google Hangout.  Is that possible?
