TeamViewer closes/exits suddenly

I'm running TeamViewer 14 on a Windows 10x64 PC.

I use TV to remotely connect to a computer my boss uses so we can work on projects together.  I'm experiencing an issue where TV on my end will suddenly close/exit with no error or message displayed.  During our last session this happened several times and is becoming very disruptive.

Additionallly, I recently installed the TV QuickSupport app on my Galaxy S7 to connect to it from my PC.  The same problem occurs during these sessions as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I noticed that something keeps disabling the service.  This shows up in the Event Viewer:

    "The start type of the TeamViewer 14 service was changed from demand start to disabled."

    How do I prevent this from happening?

  • This is a pretty big problem that I need help with.  How do I get help??
