Teamviewer app on my Note 8 is going crazy

Help! Since the Android Pie update, my Teamviewer app on my Note 8 is malfunctioning. When I try to open the app, the phone turns off and then restarts. I have uninstalled and re-installed, but that didn't help. **bleep** Android updates!!! Can anyone help?
