I am currently using a free license and trying to connect to a fiend's computer and I have not a single teamviewer session open at the moment... still I am getting this message:
The maximum number of your concurrent teamviewer sessions has been reached. Please wait until other sessions are closed or expand the number of your session channels.

I've already tried unninstalling, upgrading to tv14, deleting all regedit entries, restarting and so on...
I get this problem without loggin into an account and also after having logged into an free account.

Is there any fix for it?

    Normally if you give it up to an hour :( it will start working again.

    It happens to me when I switch between Linux and Windows VM. Because Linux isn't working I jump to Win VM and get the same error.

    In Linux logging out and back in will fix it if the problem is on your end.
    In Windows restarting the computer or Virtual Machine will fix it if the problem is on your end.

    If the problem is with TeamViewer you just need to wait. :)
