Wake on Lan not working on macbook

I want to use my Wake on Lan on my iPad to remote access my Macbook. I followed every steps on the manual: I connect my Macbook to my Router through Ethernet cable, I connect my Macbook to a power source, and I set up port forwarding for and get the IP Address for Macbook through Xfinity website.

However, this still not works? Can anyone tells me why?

    Sure is not right, but I was wondering if you disable the router firewall for 5-10 minutes and give it a try without it, it could change the situation?

    Of course, after the test, you have to enable again the firewall.
