apple mac. protocol negotiation failed

hi, ive got team viewer on my laptop (macbook pro) and the apps on my iphone and ipad. all of a sudden, when i try to connect from one of my devices to my macbook, i get the "protocol negotiation failed" error. Ive just googled the problem but it looks like the solutions i find are windows based. Can anyone help me with this or can suggest any ideas.

    Can you please check if this issue still persists within the current TeamViewer 12 version? We published an update last week. Please chekc also if the current app is installed on the mobile device.

    Hi Julia,

    I still found that same issue. I am using Teamviewer v12 on macbook air and using remote by my iphone 6 which the latest apps installed.

    Pls kindly advise.
