performance when client has multiple NICs

I have noticed when I connect to a client that has multiple nics, the connection performs quite poorly.  I have checked the client's default gateway, and all looks ok.  Has anyone else observed this behavior?  Any suggestions on how to improve the performance?

I connect to servers with multiple NICs and I don't have any problems.

Sometimes I connect to laptops that are plugged into the LAN and connected to WiFi. This can cause network problems (not just for TeamViewer) if Windows doesn't have a preferred connection. In this case I usually have the user unplug the NIC and just use the WiFi.

If it's an option, I recommend unplugging all but one NIC just for troubleshooting.

    I don't work for TeamViewer. I'm just a user.
  • Chiron, thanks for your insights / info.

I would agree if there are issues and we could unplug a nic, that would likely fix the issue.  When I have this issue,  I am connecting to a server or unattended system for system maintenance.  Unplugging a nic is not an option.  We have several systems that perform data collection on one network and then present the results and data to another.
