BIOS device serial # and track current user logged on

Hi,

We are using the IT brains monitoring/asset management feature and noticed that it does not track the BIOS device serial # nor the current user logged on. It only tracks the motherboard and hard drive serial numbers. The BIOS device serial number is an important asset information that our company records (we may not be the only one).

Tracking what user is currently logged on can help us associate a owner to a device (especially on Windows OS). This information can help us to quickly contact the device owners when we receiving monitoring alerts.

Could such features be included? We would love to keep our remote assistance and asset management all under Teamviewer.

Thanks.

Re: BIOS device serial # and track current user logged on

Hi @avanegas

Thanks for the request.

This is the first time someone asked about BIOS serial numbers, would you be interested in a 20 minute conversation to understand exactly what is the technical implications with this request?

Regarding logged in users we will implement this soon, many other customers requested this information as well.

Product Owner, Remote Management services.
