To enhance the capabilities of playing back recorded meetings without the need to convert the recorded files to more inefficient codecs (and having the same data stored multiple times) it would be nice if VLC-Player would be able to play the *.tvs / *.blz files. Maybe there is a possibility to ad the functionality to VLC by a plug-in / extension which calls an TeamViewer / Blizz function to decode by use of an API ?
The need to encode Teamviewer's proprietary tvs files into another widely accepted format (e.g mp4, avi, etc) is ridiculous. It not only takes significant time, it also takes significant space. Encoding the tvs files can mean a 2MB file turns into 10+GB. And after spending time converting and saving them, ,you need a way to share them.
Which is when it becomes next to impossible to quickly and easily share these files with other people (e.g. a thrid party software vendor for troubleshooting their software) because the file size is so big. You need to upload it to a cloud service so they can download it.
Please provide a decoder for common players so they can play tvs files or allow us to record sessions in a native file format so we don't need to re-encode them.
