TeamViewer’s multi-monitor support allows users to connect to devices with multiple monitors and view these monitors easily.
To be able to use this feature, you must meet the following requirements:
You are using TeamViewer 13
You are a private user or own a TeamViewer 13 license (or higher)
If you are remotely connected to a device with multiple monitors, you can easily switch between these monitors from the TeamViewer remote toolbar. If you have the same number of monitors or more than your client, it is also possible to mirror them one-to-one onto your own monitors.
Hint: TeamViewer can only capture what the remote device has attached to it. For example, if the remote screen only has one monitor we cannot generate additional monitors. We provide you the physical state of the remote device.
In the TeamViewer toolbar, click on the View button then the Active monitor in the menu.
How to select a monitor
Select the number of the monitor that you want to view, click Show monitor 1, or Show all monitors to see all screens at the same time in a single window.
How to make tabbed connections in MacOS
To make the connections tabbed please open two connections to the devices or same device you wish to have tabbed.
Hint (Licensing): Opening two connections from your device will only use one of your channels.
In the Mac tool bar please go to Window, then select Merge All Windows.
