Assets view interface redesign

Last year we introduced the Device View for Asset Management, focused on aggregating the most important asset data for a device. With the new Assets View interface, we have completed the redesign for Asset Management.

After extensive research and many user interviews, we designed an interface that will assist you in your day-to-day operations, and aid in simplifying quarterly auditing of your assets, hardware and software.

Clearer sorting for hardware and software

  • Added new icons for all hardware sections.
  • Customized the header rows individually for hardware and software.
  • Added a toggle feature to switch between hardware and software with one click.
  • Increased the size of the details section for hardware components – serial numbers are now visible for hardware components that have serial numbers.
  • Added group filtering.

Better search functionality

  • Added a global search field for all assets.

Introduced active filters for improved visibility

  • Added active filters which will filter the list of assets.
  • Active filters now have different colours and are shown on top of the asset rows for better visibility.

Print to export feature updated with the new design

  • Updated the export to print design to match the new view.

Re: Assets view interface redesign

Nice update, but a very handy feautre which i am missing sooooo much:

Export the "remote management - overview" list into an excel sheet.

I need to know all the OS versions and there is currently no way to get that.
