ITbrain Anti-Malware not active or out of date in Windows Security Center

Dear ITbrain Customers,

Recently Microsoft introduced a new program called Microsoft Virus Initiative and changed the way Windows Security Center works for 3rd party Security solutions. This change affects Windows 7,8 and 10 with latest updates. On some devices, ITbrain Anti-Malware will show as not registered in the Security Center. For ITbrain Monitoring users the alert will be triggered that ITbrain Anti-malware or other solutions are not active or out of date. We are working together with Microsoft to Make sure ITbrain Anti-malware will be able to register in the  Windows Security Center.

Rest assured ITbrain Anti-malware works properly and protects your devices. All virus definitions update as normal every hour.

Thanks for understanding and to your continuous support.

A month ago? Nothing new? I just purchased and never saw a warning that the product doesn't work on Win 10 1803. I get that they change Windows but please update on a fix date.

Re: ITbrain Anti-Malware not active or out of date in Windows Security Center

Dear @OrangeCat

We are working together with Microsoft to be part of the  Microsoft Virus Initiative. The registration process takes longer than expected. We will notify our customers once everything is sorted out and ITbrian Anti-Malware can be registered successfully in the Windows Security Center for latest Windows builds.

This change in Windows OS does not affect the security of the system. The only inconvenience is that ITbrain Anti-Malware cannot be registered in the Windows Security Center.
