Deploy Teamviewer Host on Linux
Hi,
i'm trying to deploy Teamviewer-Host via puppet on ubuntu-clients.
Is it possible to predefine the unattended Password in the global.conf or somewhere else? I tried to create the config file via gui and copy it to other clients. Everything works fine except the password.
'teamviewer passwd' is no option because of plaintext-password in puppetscript.

Dear it-services,
Thank you for your post.
The reason why you're not able to set the password predefined in global.conf is that the password is saved as encrypted.
It's understandable your concern about the plain password but as today the ways to set a password are:
- The command: teamviewer passwd [password]
- GUI: TeamViewer options / Security / Password
Hope this clarifies your post.
Best regards,
Christian
