Remember recent connections not working on Ubuntu

I have used Teamviewer for many years in Windows and I know that once you connect to another person, his ID will be remembered and available in a dropdown.
Unfortunately this is not working on Ubuntu. There is just an input field for the ID but no dropdown. This is really annoying as I'm often connecting with the same person over and over again and every time he needs to tell me his ID.
Can this be fixed please? I even signed up because I thought this is only available for registered users but it didn't make any difference.
