Connect to Ubuntu server 14.04 stuck at "Initializing display parameters"

Hi All,

I have Ubuntu server 14.04 installed on virtual machine in a macbook. (Which do not have GUI)
And I have install the teamviewer (version 12) on the Ubuntu server, and setup the password.
But whenever I tried to connect to the Ubuntu server, teamviewer would stuck at "Initializing display parameters".

I have tried install teamviewer 11 & 12 on the Ubuntu server, and they all stuck at the same message.

    Dear SamL,

    Thank you for your post.

What software are you using to host your VMs?

    Dear SamL,

    Thank you for contacting TeamViewer.

May you please let us know what application you're using to host the VM and your Mac OS Version?

We will like to try to reproduce the issue.

We are looking forward to your comments.

    Best regards,

    Christian

    Dear Christian,

The teamviewer I downloaded for the host VM is the first one on the teamviewer download page "TeamViewer for Linux".  (https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/linux/) (I've tried both version 11 & 12).

And my mac os is version 10.12 (the Sierra).

Not sure if this is caused by ubuntu is NOT install with GUI.

    Thanks for the help!
